We argued whether it was a small hummingbird, or a moth- the score is final! It is a moth- the full name is Snowberry Clearwing Moth. I understand they are a type of daytime sphinx moth- they disguise themselves as hummingbirds to evade predators.

Jul 22, 2009 - We see one or two occassionally. They come around about 8 o'clock here and fly around our hanging baskets.
